A little height. A wider picture.
Opened in 2012, Tokyo Skytree rises 634 metres above Oshiage. The Tembo Deck is at 350 metres; the Tembo Galleria reaches 450 metres. Its lattice changes from a triangular base towards a round shaft.
Something to notice
From the ground, follow the pale lattice up towards the sky. From above, trace a river bend or railway line, then find a small street nearby. What detail brings the huge city back to a human scale?
A little consideration
Keep entrances and observation windows clear. Follow staff instructions. Check the official calendar, tickets and accessibility guidance before visiting; weather can affect access.
