A little time. A closer look.
Shukkeien arranges water, bridges, rocks and planting into a compact landscape near central Hiroshima. Follow the garden paths slowly to see changing compositions around the pond; the neighboring Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum can be visited separately or with a combined ticket.
Something to notice
The garden includes uneven surfaces and small bridges. Check current closures and combined-ticket options at the entrance.
A little consideration
Keep to the paths, protect planting and avoid blocking narrow bridges.
