A little time. A closer look.
Yamashita Park gives the city a long green edge beside the harbor. Walk along the waterfront, pause by the planting and look across the water; the moored Hikawa Maru is a separate museum visit, not part of the free park admission.
Something to notice
The route from the station follows the approach to Hikawa Maru inside the park; boarding the ship requires a separate ticket.
A little consideration
Keep away from the water edge and respect planted areas and event boundaries.
A small companion, in full.
The actual guide, just as it downloads. One PDF, with the same guide in color and monochrome. Print only the page you prefer.
