A little time. A closer look.
Peace Memorial Park is a place to remember the atomic bombing and consider its human consequences. Walk respectfully among the memorials and riverside paths, allowing time for reflection; the Peace Memorial Museum is a distinct visit with its own admission conditions.
Something to notice
The tram approach begins by the Atomic Bomb Dome at the northern side of the park; allow time to walk between memorials.
A little consideration
Keep voices low, respect ceremonies and avoid treating memorials as playful photo props.
