A city seen a little differently.
Tokyo Tower opened in 1958 and rises 333 metres above the city. Its Main Deck sits at 150 metres; the Top Deck at 250 metres. The glass Skywalk Window on the Main Deck offers a view straight down.
Something to notice
Before going up, pause and follow the lines of the lattice with your eyes. From above, look for the small streets between the larger roads. Leave a few words on paper about what surprised you.
A little consideration
Keep entrances and walkways clear when pausing for a photograph. Follow on-site instructions, and check the operator’s accessibility guidance if you need step-free access.
A small companion, in full.
